This place is the perfect spot for exploring a charming area and the staff here are very welcoming and friendly.

Characterful base for 1 night with very friendly staff despite the best efforts from the hosts. Easy to get to, particularly good location not far from centre and other very nice locations as well as a very nice area.

Quite small bathroom.

The setting was good, close enough to town centre, a pleasant residential area, and many other areas. Plus, I was at a medium distance from Hermitage Park.

The room had a romantic and cosy atmosphere, I had a great night's sleep on their comfortable beds.

This place is my favourite in the area, with a great location near the center, restaurants, shops, and attractions.

The location of Black Stair Cottage was really good, being close to the town centre, shops, and restaurants. It was in a lovely area, and the Mackintosh Club was conveniently just a short walk away.

This place quickly became my top choice for accommodation, I had a fantastic two-night stay and the location was fantastic in a charming area.

The staff here were really friendly and nice. Our room was super cute and clean, and the bed was so comfy. Plus, we got a nice view from the terrace which was a great extra touch! 🌟

The property is quiet and has really helpful staff. The room is romantic and spotless, with an adjacent bathroom and a shower, a hairdryer, and fresh towels. The view from the window of the mountain is excellent. The location is particularly good, in a lovely neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Black Stair Cottage. The cozy and homely atmosphere made us feel right at home. The tasteful decoration created a cute ambiance that we appreciated. Located on a quiet street in a pleasant residential area, it offered a peaceful and relaxing environment. The close proximity to the A82 was a huge bonus for our travel plans, making it an ideal stopover on our way to the Isle of Skye. it would be a convenient base for exploring Glasgow. And let's not forget the good surprise of having ground coffee available instead of just instant! we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

While we loved the cottage, there were a few drawbacks to mention. the description as a cottage was misleading, as it turned out to be a tiny room with minimal space for sitting or eating.

The twin room we stayed in was cosy and romantic. The exceptionally comfortable bed made our stay even better. The staff was friendly and the hotel's location was marvellous, being adjacent to the town center and other areas. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a local fast food option, Lido, just a 10-minute walk away.

This place is situated in a beautiful and peaceful area, making it convenient to explore different places and dine at nearby restaurants.
